Shepard A. Jacobson, Esq.
Shep Jacobson has been a licensed practicing attorney in California for 17 years, specializing in Workers’ Compensation, Criminal Defense, and Immigration. Shep Jacobson obtained a Bachelor of Arts at Cornell University, majoring in History/Government with a minor in Theater Arts. Mr. Jacobson then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1993.
Mr. Jacobson has an extensive background as an educator. He developed and taught the course Workers’ Compensation: A Comprehensive and Practical Approach at UCLA Extension and Fullerton College, teaching new attorneys, legal office staff, employers, and insurance company adjusters the substantive and procedural aspects of Workers’ Compensation law.
Mr. Jacobson has been an instructor at El Camino College and currently is an adjunct law instructor at West Los Angeles College, teaching paralegal studies courses such as Legal Research, Civil Litigation, Advanced Legal Writing, and Ethics. Mr. Jacobson continues to teach at the community college level, assisting students with substantive and procedural aspects of the law and helping them in their own contribution to the community.
